The spirograph SMP-02-"R-D"/2 is an ultrasonic type spirograph sensor connected to a personal computer via USB. Viewing and archiving is done on a computer. The operation of the spirograph is provided with the Spiro PC2 Software module for recording and archiving spirometry results.
The spirograph is used in functional diagnostics departments, wellness centers, medical services of enterprises (conducting medical examinations), in sports, aerospace medicine to monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic and rehabilitation measures in pulmonology, monitoring for asthma, and for medical and labor expertise.
The spirograph sensor is a working part of the BF type. The spirograph sensor measures the air flow during the patient's inhalation or exhalation, converts it into a digital signal and transmits it to a computer. The sensor of the spirograph contains a temperature and humidity sensor in the room (for automatic adjustment to BTPS conditions).
The sensor converts the air flow into an electrical signal by ultrasonic method. The ultrasonic measurement method has a high resolution (250 measurements per second), which guarantees reliable determination of all measured parameters with the highest accuracy.
When using the ultrasonic flow measurement method based on digital technologies, auxiliary flow assessment parameters (for example, differential pressure) are no longer required. The gas flow and volume are calculated based on measuring the travel time of an ultrasonic pulse in the forward and reverse directions.
The time difference between the forward and reverse directions is proportional to the air flow velocity.
Ultrasound measurements are a reliable and stable basis for diagnosis and provide maximum comfort to patients. Unlike similar devices, the SMP-02-R-D has no noticeable resistance that can make breathing difficult, which is very important for patients with impaired respiratory function.
The spirograph sensor is a complete device in which
